Ron Gerow is a not-yet acclaimed writer who has always written. He lived in NYC for 15 years where he wrote and submitted several screenplays. He has co-written plays with Marc Berman, an Obie award winning playwright. The plays were produced on off-off Broadway, a few times he played a role. Gerow was a member of the writer’s workshop associated with St. Mark’s Street Church and Mag Magazine, to which Patti Smith and Alan Ginsberg contributed. Ron Gerow wrote poems in collaboration with one of the magazine editors, Gregory Masters.
Currently, he continues to write, working on a children’s book about his dog and presently having some success with one of his screenplays.
