Lizzie Harwood

Lizzie Harwood’s love of her home country, New Zealand, spills over into the vibrant, quirky stories she tells and raw, honest memoir. That isn’t to say she doesn’t adore her adopted country, France, where she currently lives with her husband and two children. When she isn’t neck-deep in writing and motherhood, she is an editor and writing coach to amazing clients all around the world. She formed an indie publishing press to publish her controversial memoir and other works: Triumph: Collected Stories (short fiction), Xamnesia: Everything I Forgot in my Search for an Unreal Life (memoir), Go See the Kids: The Ventures Family Trilogy (literary fiction). Her stories also appear in Legacy: an Anthology (Velvet Morning Press) and The Best New Zealand Fiction (Vintage). Her projects have received grants from CreativNZ – New Zealand’s arts funding – and she’s an associate member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, UK.
